To try and give our future, and or present, past customers a better view of Rose Cottage Guest House in Ennis we put together this short little video to give you a view of the internal of the bed and breakfast, while also showing you the views from the street, the private rear garden dining area as well as our Bar and Lounge Aylmers Rest adjacent to the left side of the main B&B’s front door.
Ennis is an old town with a lot of history which can easily be noticed on a walk through the center and out skirts of the town, from cannons in the courthouse grounds to monuments of Eamon De Valera who had to take refuge in County Clare during the troubles of 1922 – 1924. De Valera was arrested in Ennis in 1923 (see video below)
The town celebrated it’s 750th birthday in 1990 and has been a very popular place of interest among tourists over the years as it’s pretty dead center on your travels to visiting the rest of County Clare, most who visit from abroad do so via Shannon Airport where Ennis is the first major populated town only 20 minutes drive away.
