“Clean, quaint, comfortable, quiet, and affordable...” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2013 I cannot imagine what more anyone would want from a very affordable B&B in a good location. My room felt extremely comfortable and I never felt any lack of anything. It was decorated nicely, as a private home might be, instead of the typical bare bones look found in most Hostels. There was no pressure by the management about whether I would be staying longer. They just said "let us know in the morning", nor was there any suggestion that coming in late at night would be a problem. I highly recommend this B&B, and upon returning to Ennis I will not even look elsewhere."

“Better than a home away from home.” 4 of 5 starsReviewed 21 September 2010 I have stayed with Carmel and Frank Daniels several times. I find them to be more than great hosts. Staying with them is like staying with beloved family. The rooms are a bit small, by my American Standards, but very tidy , warm and comfortable. Carmel runs a fine house and kitchen, while Frank runs the attached Alymers Rest Bar, One of the friendliest non-music pubs in Co. Clare.The best place in town for a quiet pint and execellent conversation. Everything is up to date, and of high quality. When in Ennis, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else.There is even an off sale on the premisies. Stayed March 2010, travelled as a couple
